Well, the point of these competitions is not to kill the other person but rather to score points. The quality of the video is really bad so you can't really see what's happening but it seems the guy on the left is very quick and very capable of hurting someone.

This is SILLY!
This is typical pretend to make lethal contact tournament stuff. One guy over-runs, while the other guy peddles and wilts.
They both look fit but not anywhere near capable of the real thing.
