I used After Effects to make my filmed sequence in frames, but think it will work on other softwares to ;p Google it or something ;D

I have a drawing tablet now, so I might try it perhaps :) Still got no idea how though, I'll go on wikipedia or something

You can, if you have PS, then just shoot everything live action first, then save the footage in frames and take the frames into PS and start painting xD Hard work, but everybody can do it :) A digital drawing tablet could come handy too xD
