"STUPID IS STUPID." I did massive amounts of business with BOTH of them, and they screw me. They're not Einsteins.

Thank you for your replies!
I wonder what they thought they were gaining by doing that!
So stupid, for in the long run if they kept in business, it would have only hurt them.

visit my website and there is an e-mail link there

Now that Vintage Cosmo has gone out of business (thank God; along with CFM Motorcycles, they ripped me off for $1500), your only hope is E-Bay

This bike has always started easily, and still does, but thank you for the acute observation, Dr. Sherlock Einstein.

Nice bike but the editing leads me to believe you had a lot of trouble getting it started.

Can I ask how you got ripped off?
I bought a beautiful Benelli Barracuda from Cosmos this past summer. I tried getting in touch with Cosmos because I caused the front frok seals to leak transporting the bike with strap tie-downs in the back of a pickup truck. But he never responded. Would you happen to know where I can find seal parts or what alternatives I have thanks! Is there a way I can contact you away from this public medium?
Thanks

Visit my blog (to which there is a link from my benelli website) and you can read the whole sad saga of how I was ripped off by Claudio Catania of CFM Motorcycles, with Cheerleading from Joe Purshock of Vintage Cosmo.

Do you know where I can purchase fork seals for my 1965 Benelli Barracuda.
I had strapped the bikes handlebars down in a pickup truck, and that caused them to leak.
Thanks!

These are fairly common items, but you have to know the EXACT DIAMETER. There are a few folks who sell "Italian Generics." Helps to know the fork manufacturer (sometimes Marzocchi or Cerani) and the seal diameter.
