@Pintoguitar1 Bah!! Frusciante is a shell of his former self. His "solos" these days are unbearable. He was great before he got whacked out on heroin... but he never quite regained the mojo he lost after he got clean.

Navarro was perfect for Janes'. Brilliant job there.
But for the red hots it didn't really work for some reason.
I know everybody is like over the moon for Frusciante, but I always liked Slovak more. He played some spaced-out, beautiful and nuanced stuff. But all I read on youtube is Frusciante this and that. Of course my favorite RHCP material is from uplift party and freaky stylie... I'm like an old guy. ha.

Navarro is just ok... But the bands unique style, Chad and Flea are what make RHCP cool.
