The song is 'Intermezzo', a short interlude on the album 'All-In' by Arling & Cameron. It's a great CD and I heartily recommend picking it up.

I know about nothing in terms of the capabilities people have with hacking peggle, but this one would be really easy (in theory), so long as you can eliminate acceleration in the x direction

Well it certainly wasn't hacking - mouse and keyboard all the way. It just sort of happened. Must have just nailed the "no-x-direction" thing...
