My daughter, Hillary is on an aircraft carrier somewhere in the Middle East. I don't always hear from her and I miss her very much. She is a machinist mate. Please keep her in your prayers. This is just a practice slide show...I need a better camera and software to produce a better one. That last picture was taken right after she got gassed. They have to go through that once a year. She said it was awful!

  • @jacfred, jesus man. Hey at least this girl has a family. I did my time and my deployments and had nobody. I never got a care package or a youtube video or this mushy stuff. Came back home to the states and no jobs and people could care less or how hard or dirty of a job i did. Politicians could care less sending my jobs to india or some god forsaken place. I shoulda stayed in because at least back then i had purpose even though it was a miserable thankless job.

  • @TonyTX sorry about that. It was even worse when our guys came home from Vietnam. It makes me very sad just to think about....

  • I cried when I saw this - it touched me deep inside. Thanks for sharing. I admire parents like you. I can't imagine what it is going to be like when my lil girl leaves home. God Bless You.

  • Thank you so very much!!

  • I'm sorry. I cannot say anything nice because I'm from the old Navy and don't believe that WAVES should not be stationed on US Navy ships.

  • I was a Machinist Mate for 5 years. I have to say, she is the most beutiful MM I have every seen!

  • Hello Fran, I know what you're going through. Thanks for watching!

  • I miss her so much. She called me from Hawaii and she sounded real happy. It was the 1st time she was able to use her cell phone since April. She's on her way to San Diego now.

  • This is such a beautiful video for such a beautiful young woman! I miss my children too...they are 5 hours away. I live for our time together! Hugs to you!
