Feb 17/11 update: Thank you all very much for your kind comments. We know this rendition is kinda rough -- we just did it for fun!

  • I think this cover is more beautiful in the raw, don't "fix" it. Magnificent job.

  • Wrinkley clothes and violin = beautiful cover

  • @diegoalbum Just uploaded one.

  • this is awesome :)

  • I think this is pretty good :)) but the one thing I really wanted to hear was the fast part. That would've been awsome!

  • This was good. I like the violin. Violins kind of fit Arcade Fire's style. Just for some constructive criticism I think you guys should work on playing the instruments more smoothly.

  • aw this is lovely! :)

  • I absolutely love this! When I learn to play the violin I really want to learn this song, love Arcade Fire!

  • ... I think if you listened carefully to the beginning of the song and learned it your cover would really be more beautiful. I know how much people hate comments that begin by anything else than a highly positive adjective like "awesome, you're the best" etc., but I think my help can be useful.

  • This is not bad, but there are a lot of "mistakes" if I may call so. We can always say that it's a personal and open interpretation but really I think it would be nicer if you played the right chords (and base notes) at the piano. Example : in the verse, the 2nd pattern is [Ab, G, D] (base note is Ab not F) and for the 3rd pattern you return to a Eb basenote instead of the Eb that makes all the beauty of the song.
