Part 1 of a class given by Rick Dallmann of CXtec at the 2008 NY Tech Summit. Topics covered in this class address trunking solutions and creating a structured cabling environment, while addressing the 7 key areas that affect performance, reliability and manageability. This is a practical, non-theoretical discussion of real world design challenges for these high-speed passive optical links and best data center design practices.

This is a great topic of interest for many of us in the data center industry. The presentation sound quality has a lot of background noise and can barely hear the presenter and also, the ppt is not seen in most shots..
Just a fyi. great series by the way..
