Testing the Sony Handycam DCR-HC28, and comparing it to the Canon ZR500 and Panasonic PV-GS80.

If'n you don't want to watch the video, here's the scoop:

The Sony has excellent quality, durability and features EXCEPT a decent image stabilizer. Every little shake and bump shows up. If that isn't important to you, then it has it all.

  • Sometimes it makes sense to EDIT too, in post production. Tip from the pros. The cameras are the subject, so keep it concisely that

  • @MetallicBill Tip from the videographer: This be MY youtube channel, and I'll do what I wish with it and the videos I make, thank ye very much. You can do the same on yours.

  • @SadieDammit I'm having my fun at your expense... You see edits made before the long, drawn out conversation off camera, which we could have lived without.... just saying!

  • @MetallicBill Expense? Meh. Didn't cost me a thing. What you're missing here is that I made these videos for my subscribers. They were curious about the cameras I was looking into. So they know the people I'm talking to on and off camera, and they happened to want to hear all of that, too. There are inside jokes and nuances that only they would understand as well. So as I said, my channel, my video......for my subscribers. You "could have lived without it? " Please DO.

  • I have this camera but I can't get my videos in high quality what program do you capture and edit your videos with?

  • @claytheman123456789 I use Ulead

  • @GhostHunter1986 With skype, just turn it on and select it in the Skype program as your camera

  • @GhostHunter1986 You need a firewire cable that goes from the camera to the computer.
