  • Did she win? i think this is some of the best banjo playing i have ever seen...where does she sing? i would like to see her in person- i think we could sing great together...would love the chance sometime...Bill

  • @tophatbill As I recall she placed no higher than maybe 3rd or 4th. The judges don't always get it right. I recall that Bailey Cooke was booked two performances at the Bristol Rhythm and Roots (Bristol TN/VA) nearby last year. According to her Facebook page and personal website she just moved to Brooklyn, NY in August and is scheduled for a show at "The Living Room" on Ludlow Street on 29 September.

  • That's my baby girl!!! - She's amazing!

  • You have every reason to be proud- great performance!

  • perdy girl

  • some are called muscians, artists, performers, pickers, players, singers, but you are so far beyond that. this just flows out of your heart. thank you.

  • i'm so impressed.

just the loveliest music i can imagine.

    and the red dress too!

  • Wow,just amazin.

  • It's been some time since this was posted but it still does it for me, great musicianship. Great tradition. Compare it to the Irish tune, Down by the Sally Garden, which I think is the forerunner of this tune. The word "sally" is reference to Saillach in Gaelic which means willow. The latin for the willow genus is Salix. It all ties.

  • holy shit. this girl rips it. amazing
