  • oh for god's sake, whoever is filming this is RIGHT there, she is not going to drown in dust nor is she going to get stuck...i think she is much safer here than the wild or god forbid some chinchilla farm where they would get turned into bikini's for lil kim or something...ugh i hate people that wear fur, this just makes me hate them more...clearly this is an intelligent, sentient being with a personailty...anyhoo, chill! cocoa is not getting hurt!!! ack, people drive me nuts...

  • what happend to his ears? :o

  • Rap-Chilla?

  • Look, this is to all of you. Chinchillas have to have these special dust baths because, like someone said before, their fur is too dense for water baths. The volcanic sand you MUST use, feeds into their fur and soaks up all the excess oil and grit and durt within your chinchilla's fur that she does not need. Okay? :) xx

  • Oh, and can some people just SHUT THE HELL UP?! Stop criticizing how other people are taking care of their chinchillas!!!! Jesus Christ!! Does the chinchilla look unhappy? No. Does she look unhealthy? NO. Now shut the hell up or I swear to God I am going to spam up yo asses so much your channel won't even work. Don't be so tight on other people!

  • This it too cute. :)

  • You should have some type of thick bedding (except for cedar) on the bottom. If there isn't bedding, the wire can give them arthritis later in life.

  • @poisongasses @with33

It cleans their fur by drawing out all of the oils and dirt. Chinchilla fur is so thick that it would take FOREVER for it to dry if you gave them a water bath, and letting them air dry runs a risk of: 1. pneumonia because they're cold for too long 2. overheating and death if you try to blow-dry them. 3. fungus underneath the fur from dampness.

  • @with33 i think the dust comes from volcanic rocks or some shit, if thats the kind of answer your looking for, there are diff brands, if ur buying some, my chinchilla enjoys the blue cloud, if u find scented dust.. don't get it, as mush as u and i want a nice smelling chin, it may irritate them. plus they dont have much of a smell anyways so why bother.

  • @poisongasses lol well if you find out please tell me

also what kinda dust is that lol?

  • @with33 i don't know how it clean their fur.. all i know is that their fur is to dense for water to actually reach their body, so this is the alternative.. and it pisses me off, cuz they make such a big mess >:(
