I had forgotten this track classic! I think if my memory is accurate it does have a similar sound/ tempo to a 1978 song by > Arpeggio " love and desire".

I didn´t know the Arpeggio song, but I just hear it on youtube and you are right it has a similar rhythm, specially the start of the song (to some extent)

An absolute belter; they used to play it early on in The Kirk - an awesome club in Kirklevington near Yarm circa 1987-1989. I've also got this on 12"- tune !
