在2000年7月22日入行剛好四十年也是肥姐的生日，舉辦了一個慈善show高朋滿­座齊齊來慶祝！反映肥姐四十年一生的星路！

沈殿霞無線電視的第一代藝人（1945-2008）
招牌響亮尖銳的笑聲, 貓頭鷹式髮型及稍向上的黑框眼鏡框深入民心.
歡樂形象是從1960年代開始一直延續到今天, 被譽為娛樂圈中"開心果"
-13歲時跟隨父母移居香港。
-15歲時被招聘為電影"一樹桃花千朵紅"的童星而開始其演藝生涯, 曾參與多部國語及粵語電影的演出, 拍攝過的電影逾百齣。
其後加入香港無線電視, 開始綜藝節目"歡樂今宵"的主持工作。
-1970年代曾與張德蘭, 汪明荃, 王愛明組成「四朵金花」
-1985與鄭少秋結婚。
-1987誕下女兒欣宜，八個月後離婚。
-2006年後，她作戰了2年的肝癌（已長期患有糖尿病和高血壓）
-2008年2月19日早上8時38分，在瑪麗醫院病逝，享年62歲。

On July 22, 2000 Lydia Shum aka Fei Fei celebrated her 40th year in the entertainment industry including her birthday. She organized a charity show celebration, inviting many star friends and relatives. Reflecting her 40 years of star life.

The first generation television entertainer (1945-2008)
She is well known for her loud, sharp laugh, owl hair style and black-rimmed glasses. This happy image from the 1960s is known as the entertainment nicknamed "Happy Fruit". Lydia moved to Hong Kong with her family at the age of 13. And was recruited for the film "A One Thousand Red Peach Tree," as child star at age 15. She began her acting career and has been involved in the Ministry of Mandarin and Cantonese movies. Lydia has filmed over a hundred movies. Then she joined the Hong Kong TVB, and began hosting variety shows, such as "Enjoy Yourself Tonight" . At 1970 Lydia collaborated with Zhang Delan, Liza Wang, Wang Aiming and form a group known as "The Four Golden Flowers". She married singer and actor Adam Cheng in 1985 and their daughter Joyce Cheng was born in 1987 but after 8 months of her birth, Cheng and Lydia divorced.

Lydia suffered from chronic diabetes, hypertension, after 2006 she fought liver cancer for two years. On February 19, 2008 at 8:38 am, she passed away in Queen Mary Hospital at age 62.
