New media has helped to save Singapore. I don't think it's just 40% who wanted change. Just in Mr Chiam See Tong's GRc they got 43% even in his weakened state. If he had not had his stroke, his GRC would have won and so would Mrs Chiam. People are ready for more checks and balances.

@vidz8181. Respectful, that's like saying steam trains allowed great progress in the past and so we have to stick to them regardless of changing times. A political party is an evolving creature. Look at what it is today vs what is was when our grandfathers were around...
