I've just seen Atonement and Brief Encounter back to back. Interesting. I imagine he and Keira studied B.E. a little bit, for the accent, maybe for the acting style... Anyway, loved both films and the rest of this list James! :D

The Goonies is (in my opinion) the least likeable 80s kids film. I never really thought Spielberg really knew how to use kids in movies

I think this is the only Rotten Tomatoes "Five Favorite Films" segment that is overwhelmingly (and I mean nearly perfectly) positive. And I think it's just because James is so charming.
