great work, looks awesome

@cheboogie17 About 1/2" of the edge is tucked into a cut going around the flames. I use a putty knife like tool to tuck the edges into the cut. It's hard to show and even harder to explain! No one showed me how to do this, well between me and my younger brother, I have never seen anyone else do this? Maybe someone in cali has, but still never seen it, if so?
Thanks for watching,

yea i didnt understand either. what takes care of the edges

@BuckMcLean Hi,
it is very hard to even show someone, much less explain in a paragraph. Add 1/2" landau foam, make a stencil of your design and cut it into the landau. I start with gluing only the flame area (add glue to flame area with brush) then tuck the edge of that into the cut. Then do the same to the background(apply glue with a brush and spray glue the back of the material). This was not really a instructional video. I was just trying to show how many steps and how hard it is to do.
what kind of material is used for the two door pieces?????

@Smokewade The white foam is landau foam and the vinyl I used was "Allanta" My new favorite leather like vinyl is "Nuance"

is there anyway You could tell Me how much it would cost to get a truly custom look like that in My Wife's PT Cruiser? I am in process of doing up a custom stereo install ground up. want LED's..(dancing would be way cool too). I live in West Texas.

@PawPaDawg1 Hi, If you want just seats and headliner, your looking around $1500 or $2800 and up for a complete interior. There are alot of options that would make a difference on the price. I could build a complete custom interior, something you would see at sema, but know one wants to pay $10,000 plus. All my videos are kind of basic, because everyone wants the cheapest way out, I don't blame them though.

are you good with wrapping vinyls and leathers around plastic trim and door panels with alot of curves and bends. im having trouble getting the fabric to form and look like the fabric came on the piece

@cheboogie17 Yeah it's hard to do with out getting wrinkles huh! I'm sure you are familiar with different vinyls and how some stretch better than others. You can use heat formable vinyl too, it has no backing and it's what the factory uses on alot of dashes. Probably the hardest and nicest way would be to make a pattern with top stitching around all the seams(similar to a Mercedes or BMW door panel/armrests). That can be hard to line all the seams up even though.
Hope that helps some,
