When a self-service car wash is scammed one too many times, it decides to make life a living hell for a would-be con artist.

Shot entirely with the Pentax K-X. Made as part of the A3F: Almost Famous Film Festival (thea3f.net) 48 Hour Challenge in February of 2010.

Awards: Top 20 (out of 75 entrants), A3F 2010

  • Did you guys ever find the focus ring on that camera?

  • @jacobestes Sure didn't. As you can see, every single shot is out of focus.

  • Made with kit lens + 135mm 2.8 prime (Pentax K-mount)

  • Dude, nice job. Does the quarter string work???

  • @gregrampage Yes and no. I've seen a washer tied to a string work on a vending machine, but I don't think the beaded dogtag chain would work.

  • You did a really good job shooting this.

  • hello, can you tell me where did you get the codecs and what is your editing work flow, and maybe camera settings? because my footage is mad flickering and yours is not (i'm not talking about the auto exposure, but the colors in shades are flickering different tones) You can see my problem in my last video... thanks for reading, and a great video you have here!

  • made with kit lens?

  • What lens(s) did you use?

  • I loved it. Great job!
