id like to know how the C Phrygian scale fits the Eb9sus4 Chord. Which harmony is this?

@powersack C phrygian is the same as Ab major right? The chords is Ab major are: Abmaj7, Bbmin7, Cmin7 (or Cb9sus4), Dbmaj7, Eb7 (or Eb9sus4 if you choose to harmonize to 9th chords), Fmin7 and Gmin7b5. The Cb9sus4 chord is the iii chord in the key (making it phrygian) and the Eb9sus4 chord is the V chord in the same key. The Dbmaj7 chord that pops up is the IV chord. The only chord that is unrelated to the key is the Dmin7 chord which is the ii chord in C. Check the link for the lesson.
