good question, the FWD 1100 is a little heavier and less powerful than the RWD 76 1500 cc midget. It looked to me like the driver of the 11 didn't really get a good start. the 1100 also has the disadvantage of being front wheel drive. FWD can be great in the real world but RWD is much better on the drag strip.
