Gears of War 2 Campaign Ending Insane Difficulty

This is the end of the campaign played through solo on insane. The "Suicide Missionary" achievement for 150G is what is unlocked for completing the campaign on this difficulty setting. It looks like the same ending to me but here it is. Note that the credits are cut except for the teaser at the end. Special thanks to Kee for help with some of the strats! I picked this up again for the first time in quite a while recently. I have a weird piece of Gears trivia to add to this. When I played through the start of the helicopter sequence this morning the following dialogue came up -

Anya: Hammer of dawn is offline
Dom: Take out the barge's legs!

My xbox has been offline for months so it is quite possible that I am missing multiple updates for this game. I'm sure that those lines are correct because they also came up as subtitles. Strange, but true. It made me think that it's quite possible that the final boss battle was with the torture barge at some point, and this was replaced by the lambent Brumak in the final version of the game.

i just conquered the game on insane too..it took prolly close to four full days total to beat it..it was so long..but so badass..i cant wait to finally get started on three XD...the best series of gaming dam near ever..i love GEARS OF WAR..campaign and online are both so awesomeeeeee!!!

@warryen Well, Master Chief with armor on can fly (jetpack), so no matter how fast he can run it doesn't matter. and he can become completely invisible (active camo). so yeah, that doesn't change anything.

@ShakeZulaTheMicRula if youve ever read the books without the armor on they are nearly blurs when they run and they are silent. theres not much hope. sorry to be the one to break it to you

@gingerbreadgirlyboy While I do agree that Master Chief is a huge badass, Marcus would kill him fairly easily.

Marcus would have been given a heads-up and he would be ready for the fight. If he was smart, he would have prepared himself with the hammer of dawn and a gnasher for close range. As chief tried to make his way to him, he'd unleash hell from the skies from the hammer of dawn and if chief managed to live through that, Marcus has his shotgun (which can get a damage boost, unlike Chiefs)
