The Source Data component has no visual interface. It allows you to push data into other cells simply by changing the value of the component's Selected Index. This video shows how to use the Source Data component as well as the Insert Filtered Row option in Xcelsius
3) The line chart for trends is mis-representative, because the axis labels are just that. You don't see whether it was 3 weeks or 3 days between each data point. Can you get the component to respect the axis as values not just a sequence of labels?
4) Since the source data is bound to a specific range of cells, what happens when you have a new sales point? It's not on the chart unless I remap the source range? So every time I get new data I have to go through every component and re-validate?

Thanks for your post, however:
1) What is the point of having a gauge that is always at maximum regardless of the value it's bound to?
2) You have no link between your item summation values and your actual data. For a real dashboard, the data would be dynamic, right?
