Members of Mercy For Animals celebrate compassion and diversity by marching in the 2008 Chicago Gay Pride Parade. Preceded by a banner declaring, "No one is free when others are oppressed," the activists distributed thousands of "Why Vegetarian?" booklets to parade attendees -- detailing how farmed animals are intensively confined, mutilated without painkillers, and mercilessly slaughtered. Marchers encouraged Chicagoans to boycott animal cruelty by adopting a vegetarian diet.

  • The unnatural interment, mutilation, torture and savage slaughter of other animals in this vid just broke my heart. Please consider a compassionate, happy, healthy, eco-friendly vegan diet.

    The future is vegan

  • That's awesome =)

Great job you guys.. wish I could've been there!
