Flying the 150 to Detroit for the Night

We took the 150 for an overnight stop in Detroit before heading to Put In Bay on Saturday morning. Although it was a bit hazy, the weather was perfect for VFR flight.

I departed Stewart and climbed to 5,500 for the trip to Michigan. We were on Flight Following with ATC the entire trip and they were helpful in pointing out a few planes. Our route took us over top of Toledo Express Airport and Ann Arbor Municipal, where I began my descent into the area.

Oakland Southwest Airport in New Hudson has a narrow runway nestled amongst a bunch of trees, so I made a short field approach and landing.
