if you like mage snipers than you should use lightning spells theres no travel time so they strike alot faster

You really need to put points into Smithing (The right side of the tree is for heavy armor) and you use Dragon Bones to make heavy armor, dragon scales are for light armor so you can throw those out if you want.

The Treasure Map also says that the tower will be square, and that you get that view from looking across water. Look around the river bed beneath the tree on the cliff.
