The Da Vinci Science Center's Wizard World Summer Camp session for grades 3-4 was during a WFMZ 69 News broadcast. The Wizard World session was inspired by the phenomenally-popular Harry Potter franchise of books and movies to give the boys and girls a chance to explore the science behind the blockbuster. Campers are encouraged to put on their favorite wizard attire as they become real-life wizard scientists. Activities for campers include creating their own magic wands; taking wizard school classes-- including Herbology, Potions, Astronomy, and Care of Magical Creatures; earning points for their Houses; and competing in a Tri-Wizard Challenge.
