Thanks for stopping by once again. My name is Nili Brosh, and this is a tribute to a wonderful guitarist, Mr. Jimmy Herring! I really love this tune and it was a lot of fun (and hard work) to transcribe. I hope you all enjoy it!

----

Nili Brosh is an up-and-coming, Boston-based guitar player who has played with legends such as Stu Hamm, Guthrie Govan, and Andy Timmons. She is also a guitarist in Tony MacAlpine's (Steve Vai, Planet X, CAB) touring band. Nili's debut album, Through The Looking Glass, features Andy Timmons on a guest solo. It is available now - get it on iTunes, CD Baby, Guitar 9 Records, Abstract Logix, or www.nilibrosh.com. Please check it out!

  • Nili, AWESOME!

You're KILLING me with these brutally difficult covers! You're abilty, work-ethic and MEMORY are beyond belief. Even if if I could play well enough to cover this, my HEAD would EXPLODE trying to remember it all (LOL!) First Govan, then Timmons, then Govan again, and now Herring!!! WOW!!!

    KUDOS!

I hope school is going well for you also! (I'm sure it is!)

  • Nice playing!

The experience suffers a but because the recorded sound isn't that good. Get a better camera. :)

  • Yikes!

  • she barely hold it she must be short

  • just wondering, are you coypying this note for note, or do you actually know music theory and how to apply the diminished scale so smoothly

  • you look extremely gorgeous here!

  • WOW°!!!! OUTSTANDING!!!

  • I gotta tell you, working on learning this myself right now, so I can appreciate how hard you must have worked on this difficult piece and I gotta say, you nailed it. Jimmy would be proud. My only nitpicky thing is the tone is a little metalish for my taste, but you seriously impressed this guitarist who probably has more yeqars playing then you have time on this earth. Great job. Back to the woodshed for me.

  • Awesome job again Nili!

  • very impressive. this song is incredibly difficult!

how do you do those crazy bends starting at 1:47 that sound like derek trucks slide licks?

  • impressive

  • Any chick that even knows who Herring is let alone could play his stuff is a girl i need
