CHSPJ English Drama Team performing in National Level English Language Drama Competition 2009 [3]

This video is the third and final part of the three-part, 20-minute-in-total-length video about SMJK Katholik Petaling Jaya English Drama Team for Year 2009 performing the revised version of "The Tragic HIstory of Dr. Faustus" in the National Level English Language Drama Competition for Secondary School 2009 held in Dewan Millenium, Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang on 21-10-2009.

This video is the climax, falling action and resolution of the whole play, opening with Scene 2, where Lucifer delivers his soliloquy. Then, Scene 3 started with Faustus reappearance with an older look, and regretting about his deal with the devil, Mephistopheles. He also realised that the 7 "Greatest Gifts of Life" is actually the 7 Deadly Sins. The 7 Deadly Sins appeared with the true looks. Mephistopheles appeared and giggled at Faustus for being foolish to trade his soul. Faustus accuses Mephistopheles a liar and calls Mephistopheles to give back his life, but instead Lucifer appears again. Lucifer told Faustus it is totally his choice and the devils are not liars. Faustus then begging Lucifer to give back his life, but Lucifer called all the sins/devils to snatch his soul off his body, and throw him to the abyss of hell. The Good Angel falls to the floor, and saying that Faustus had made a wrong choice. The play ended with the narration calling upon everyone to make a right choice to live with honour and dignity.

well,,, in my opinion... its not that you all not deserve to win bcoz of you all lack of anything... its juz bcoz that.... this is a DRAMA competition but this story looks like a THEATRE show... but do continue to do this kind of story bcoz thats the way national judges love it..... wink* :)
