@gundamWWW true but by convention here he PM must have a majority of sorts if not the Governor-General would have to dissolve parliament again and call an election by having the support of three independents and a green, and I say support because for it to be a coalition it would require the members to be minsters and they aren't as it is the current make-up of the Australian House of Representatives is 72 Labor, 72 Liberal/National, 4 Independents, 1 Green and a WA National.
Good stuff, I wish more people would learn about Constitutional Law.
The convention of the leader of the party with the mosts seats won often becomes Prime Minister. But's it's only a convention... It's not written law. Conventions are difficult to enforce. Julia Gillard didn't win the majority of seats in her country of Australia, but she reamained Prime Minister.
We'll see what happens next election... Maybe next time the Liberals and New Democrats will follow the Australian model.
How would having multiple wives make them have more kids? The women will still have the same amount of kids.
Our laws (and the laws of every other country in the West aside from the UK, who, again, will almost certainly overturn that decision) DO stop them from polygamy.
Again, you're a bigot and a moron.
Yeah, Canada will invade Ontario if Alberta tries to separate. Right. All 10 thousand or so western separatists (I'm being generous here) would be squashed pretty quickly.
Quebec never planned to separate. It's always been about being a squeaky wheel. I don't care if they cause a civil war, as long as it stays east of Manitoba. Alberta, on the other hand, if it does decide to separate, will do so quickly. If we had to "take up arms" we'd do so.
Quebec will never separate because they legally can't, and because they don't want to. There's only about 30% support for Quebec EVER separating, even in the far future. But if they tried, we'd likely see a civil war
Meanwhile, you're certain of Alberta separating when there's like, 2% support of that ever happening.
Why I say there'd be a civil war is because you'd have to take up arms to separate if you can't do so legally.
Wow. Did you step out of a time machine or something? I could have sworn I heard stuff like that in documentaries about the Third Reich.
Firstly, the "muslim invasion" is overblown. The biggest issues are lack of integration and radicalism, which cause each other, and are only problems in small areas.
Secondly, they can't have more than 1 wife (except in the UK, which will almost certainly overturn that decision)
Thirdly, get your information from non-radical-right-wing sources, OK?
@velvetsmog Well. How do you like it so far? Plan didn't pan out or what?

"They can't have more than 1 wife". HAHAHA When would our LAWS stop them??? They plan to outbreed us; they can only do that with multiple wives.
You need to get your information from somewhere other than your brain, which apparently isn't working well.
