most 8-9 year old kids wouldn't have the dedication and even really know what to do with a guitar. i mean theres some people that are just amazing and by age 5 or 6 are shreddin. but i mean thats insane. i play guitar in a thrash metal band AtomicY. and i think the kids off to a great start. i wish i had the patience to sit down with a guitar 10 years ago and have that headstart
