Taylor Pie, the great Nashville/Liberty, TN singer/songwriter, video of "Cypress Lake" written by Pie & Bob Alan from her forthcoming CD, "So Little Has Changed." This was shot and edited by Steve Wallace, for puffBunny Records, at the actual recording of the song...live in studio, at famed Jack's Tracks Studio in Nashville, TN. Mark Miller is the engineer. Taylor Pie on vocal & guitar, Eben Wood on lead acoustic guitar, along with legendary players Dave Pomeroy on upright bass, Kenny Malone on drums & percussion & Russ Pahl on steel guitar. Taylor Pie was Susan Taylor, the lead singer of the Pozo Seco Singers out of Corpus Christi, TX in the late '60s, who had several highly charted songs on the Billboard Top 100. She is singing, writing, playing and performing incredibly- better than ever. ENJOY this special video treat!!

  • Terrific! I can't get this melody out of my head....I love this song!!! It's a real treat to see my best friend (from my childhood) Eben Wood playing guitar on this video. Wonderful video!

  • So beautiful! Never listened to the music before, but heard about you from my Brother Kenny! Found you, and love your music! Thanks for the peacefulness! Jeannette in Denver

  • Hi Taylor I been a devoted fan of music since the oldies revival back in the eighties but you were one of the my trio's that brought attention to the music that didn't get much recognition.. The Pozo's were a great band that made folk music the way it's done which you don't hear much oif that now. I both got these albums and I sincerely hope they may be a dozen recorded tunes the pozo's did from 64-68.

  • I went to School with Taylor in Corpus. I have to say, I thought she was wonderful and talented then and she is even more so now. A group of us are going over to see Taylor Pie and my close friend Eben Wood play a show together over in Port Aransas, Texas this week-end 10-24-2009 and I am thrilled to death. I can not wait.

  • Nice!

  • When I lived in Corpus we used to go down to the T-heads for the weekly 'hoot-n-nannys'. I always enjoyed the Pozo Seco singers. God, I miss those days -- the ocean, the cool sea breeze, the music and the sunsets.

  • My sister's a friend of Taylor's in Tenn., she gave this NH man 2 cd's- an instant fan! Glad I found this video.

  • GREAT!!

  • Wow -- What an all-star studio group backing up a superb Pie !! I still listen regularly to the Pozo-Seco stuff and am so glad to see this on youtube. Thanks!

  • Exquisite!
