Rebecca Black - "Friday" Acoustic Cover by Ben Gott

This is my acoustic cover version of Rebecca Black's "Friday," a song that has, over the past week, taken over the universe. I tried to make it seem more thoughtful and pensive by doing an acoustic version, tongue planted firmly in cheek. (And I was kidding about The Beatles.)

@screech2212: I'm playing the song in G# (G capoed up one fret). That worked better with my range (or what there is of it.)

The mic is an AKG Perception. I use it for everything. They sell them at Guitar Center here in the States.

All of the above singers you mention were all 13 years old at one time. No idea what Paul would have sounded like at the age of 13 or Mick Jagger. You would be surprised many young singers over 40 years ago started off with much the same type of lyrics. Problem in many teenagers today not relating to the lyrics thats half the problem.
