Evolution is not a religion. It is the branch of biology that explains bio-diversity. It does not permit supernatural explanations. It has no doctrines, no dogma, no fables, no traditions, no holidays, no leaders, no defenders of the faith, no place of worship, no enchantments, no clergy, no weird clothing, and no bullshit sky daddys! Neither does it promote or discourage belief in any supernatural beings. Neither does it tell how to live or what happens after we die.

there is no Darwinism, there is only Evolution which was first established by Darwin. A theory like evolution can be re-adjusted to fit new facts, (eg Darwin had no idea of DNA). There is no 'Atheist doctrine' Darwin is not some kind of prophet. Evolution explains the diversity of life, double underlined. period. end of argument

The lack of any evidence that gods exist is the primary reason i became atheist. The bloody history of religion is another. Look at the wars followers of the abrahamic religions have waged to promote their version of the god. They continue to the present day. Look at the unrelenting blood shed and hate with which the bible is filled. The world would be a better and safer place were there no religion in it..

Since matter is itself inscrutable, and in any case only known through mind, one can hardly be very confident about materialistic monism as world view--which I think is implicit in the typical anti-Christian 'science' advocates one usually hears from. Their enthusiasm, shall we say, ends to undermine their credibility as professedly rational and judicious. Much better is Mill's essay on Theism, which cautiously accepts design as (weakly) persuasive.

some people just cant see that science aint a religion. if you believe so you dont have fact and if you dont have fact you cant prove anything when you cant prove anything its Religion which is what separates the two things.

These scientists with their blind faith in observable data and cross verification with known results.

Put it this way: If Darwin says that all life conforms to the tree of life (which he did) a modern scientist has no problems saying that he is wrong in certain cases. If Jesus says that people still alive in his time will see the end of days, Christians will argue that it is a matter of interpretation, not that Jesus was wrong in that case. That is the difference between science and religion.
