Professor Steven G. Gey of the Florida State University College of Law delivers remarks at the FSU law school graduation on April 28, 1990, based on the Shakespeare quote, "First thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers." Professor Gey was recently diagnosed with ALS ("Lou Gehrig's disease").

Professor Gey was a great legal mind, an amazing teacher and passionate advocate of equality and justice for all. His legacy will continue with the ongoing efforts of those students he inspired. RIP Professor Gey.

He's awesome, always will be. I took all of his classes, the last one in 1997. God help him to strengthen his spirit now.
