The "harpsichord" (at 2:39) is an Irish harp, if I remember correctly. I've spoken to that performer.
A harpsichord is more similar to a piano, except that it plucks the strings instead of hammering it (which a piano does).

@djbungeRennie Interesting information. I am glad that it brought nice memories of your visit to the fair. I drive by there and see they are working on a new (maybe office) building in preparation for the 2011 season. Should be open in a month or so.
