This fellow's instructive videos are really good. Sound, necessary fundementels. If your a beginner or just happen to get in fights because it's your nature, you watch and practice his moves-it will probable keep you from getting your ass kicked and looking like a chump.

dont pivot your shoulder too much to the point where your elbow is off your ribcage, at that point you no longer have a cage. Instead, hide inside your shoulder but keep your elbows compressed against you ribs to protect your body.

this defense is always practiced during training, but never utilized in the fights...Lol. You see pro fighters today dont keep their chin tucked behind their shoulders.
