Microworm for breeding the fry of betta.

The easy steps for keeping microworm:

1. Get some of them (from someone, maybe via the internet or aqua clubs).
2. Prepare at least two containers. They will be used in turn.
3. Prepare the food for microworm (medium): Tear some bread into pieces and wet the bread with some milk. (Do not use too much milk or the microworm could be drowned)
4. Put the medium you just made into one container.
5. Smear some microworm on the medium, and cover the container with lid.
6. Wait 2 or 3 days and you can see many, many microworms. (The medium won't smell good)
7. After several days, you could see the amount of microworm decreases and it's time to ``refresh'' them.
8. Do the same steps of 3 to 5 with another container, and clean up the original container for the next usage.

  • how much are the microworms n the shipping

  • @southpole1234567891 I got them for free. And I have none of them now.

  • how to rear this? hiankun.. are u chinese? i'm breeding guppy and looking for some small size of food for them like microworms... i don't know how to rear it.. can u teach me please..

  • Hmm, actually I am Taiwanese and of course I read and write Chinese. To rear the micorworms, you need to get some of them from someone, and then put them into bread soaked with milk. In several days, they will grow into large amount. But you need at least two containers to keep them ``fresh'', because they would consume the food (bread + milk) and produce... excrement. So you have to take some of them to another new container with new food, and clean the original container for the next usage.

  • By the way, as you are breeding guppies, their babies are big enough to eat normal dried feed. If you don't have powder dried feed, just grind it.

  • ho do you make it?

  • @ELEPHANT0KING Do you mean those microworms? I didn't make them, but just took some of them from other hobbyist.
