Finding Your Voice

This video was produced as part of BAYCAT's Summer Media Camp as a piece for their youth-produced TV Show, Zoom In: Episode 24 - Only In San Francisco. The documentary filmmaking team of Carlean, Gabriela and Luz asked fellow students, BAYCAT team members, and others within the LGBTQ community their thoughts on SF's Queer Culture and Pride. Carlean, age 13, with the support of her friends and classmates, also shared her advice, as a young women who identifies as bisexual, to other youth struggling to find their voice.

BAYCAT strives to create a safe haven for under-served youth, like those pictured in this film, to share their stories. This summer that sense of safety was threatened when BAYCAT was burglarized and all the students' laptops were stolen. Please follow the link to help support this safe place for youth.
