This is a short, 10 minute documentary outlining the events that occur on execution day for those sentenced with the death penalty. It was filmed in Raleigh, North Carolina by Scott Langley. With the death penalty now being sought in the Casey Anthony case we thought you might find this interesting.
A doctor at the state prison walks viewers through the routine of preparing for and carrying out an execution from begining to end. We don't feel this documentary is particularly disturbing visually; however, if you find the subject matter uncomfortable it is recommended you don't watch this video.

@mugchuger Bud I spent 1 year in supermax, 6 months housed with people with death sentences. Those asshole pigs in that place couldn't barely tie their shoes, let alone get the right person for execution. Damion Echols spent I don't know how many years on death row and was nevertheless released recently because there was almost zero chance he committed the crime. That type of thing happens everyday, I've seen it with my own eyes. That's why the death penalty is unjust in the US.

@fasfsdfasd Troy Davis: No DNA evidence. No murder weapon ever found. In the trial, which was largely based of witness testimony, 7 out of 9 witnesses said they were coerced by police and recanted their statements. Georgia executed him two months ago. Not a decade ago. Two months ago.
