  • hi,be careful:the lights it's abs danger!!!i have the same car so i know that...

  • Ive seen a standard 1.25 z tec s get upto 125mph (on steels), i bought the exact model a few months later but even on the same stretch of road it wont go over 115 and on a reallly good day 120 (119 but it trys hard for the 120 lol) .. great cars in the dry, but i think abbit too frisky in the wet (but that could just be the tyres i have?)

  • @urbex2007

and they have a fun chassis lol

  • @xrobdavillanx

Yeah good grip in the dry but they slide abit when pushed in the wet, Id recommend different tyres

  • @mastclimbers What is the obsession with speed? Who is able to do a 0-60 each time they stop at lights and why would you want to race other people anyway?

All you are doing is straining the engine and gearbox and having a huge impact on fuel consumption. The fiesta isn't for racing, it is a car to get people around and to save having to use a train or bus. I have had one of each model over the years and my best was a "D reg" one, absolutely brilliant car, never needed repairs. New one is good

  • @DarkAngel2504 That is because the latest Fiesta weighs a lot more, so the engine has to work harder meaning less fuel economy. The 1.25 is an excellent engine, modern and reliable. The fiesta is a decent car, I know people don't like them, but I had one a while back and it was a shame to trade it in for a different make diesel turbo! Driving isn't all about speed - it's about reliability, comfort and your pocket. I was thinking of a new fiesta as a second car as it will fit in the garage!!!

  • @xrobdavillanx The only reason it reads so high is because the tyre size is incorrect, plus the speedometer is inaccurate, so you would only be travelling at 100MPH. The mistake people make is chavving them up sticking a silly K&N on which REDUCES performance and gives the engine mounds of dirt to break it. Standard is BEST, same for the exhaust. High temp=more gasflow. Ford spent millions designing a good car and boy racers slow them down through ignorance and lack of knowledge.

  • @DarkAngel2504 ye reasonably slow

  • speed final???

  • I got a mk5 1.25 fiesta, 2002 model year, it goes quite nice, left a mk6 for dead yesterday evening at the lights, pulls just on 12.6 to 60, which is reasonable

  • find yourself slowing down for corners ,, for fea of your life,,, i even saw a corsa hit a lamp post,, only doin 25 mph round fast roundabout ,,, drugs make u ramble on sorry,, im at woodstock right now,, see you tomorow

  • fiesta long gone now,,,1.7 time,,,

your tyres or something could be a prob,, used to think mine handled great in wet,, was on pirellis,, and recent shocks all round,,, could promote overteer on wet roundabouts with full confidene,,, corsas ive driven on the otherhand are useless in the wet,, and you
