David Pogue, tech columnist for the NY Times, wins TLLS Golden Mouth Organ for his harmonica performance. February 3, 2011
Footnotes:
1. In the intro, it was clear that Craig still holds a grudge against the NY Times. (They boycotted the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in 2008 - the year he was the speaker. ROFL!)

2. The only previous recipient of the Golden Mouth Organ was Billy Connolly

3. Pogue plays the opening bars from the "Ode To Joy" chorus (fourth movement) of Beethoven's 9th Symphony

4.The background music during Craig's "presentation" is the same as that used for the WDWLOTSTC "Angel" Kitten. LOL!

5. Dedicated to my friend and fellow CraigPeep, Shelly. As a faithful Pogueophile, she will no doubt play this damn clip whenever I disagree with a Pogue article.

  • @KulaAShaker Differences of opinion are encouraged here, but your follow-up remarks are unintelligent and add nothing of value to the conversation. You may of course try again, expressing your views in a well thought out and civil manner. There are many YouTube channels where you are free to be crude & witless. This is decidedly not one of them. • What a slowroll.

  • @ishotmarvin Yup. Craig better never ask him if he can play pool! :D

  • 0:40 Craig: Oh crap, There goes my budget for mouth organs again.

  • @KulaAShaker Oh I completely disagree. Clean, perfect execution, as well as an original choice of music. The repeated hackneyed, sloppy renditions of "Oh Susanna" on the other hand, now *those* I wholeheartedly relegate to the cats!

  • @smussyolay nope. "steinway" is the most popular brand of pianos used by concert pianists - they don't make mouth organs.

  • the frozen expression on craigs face is priceless

  • @armanithe2nd Umm...no, it isn't a 'joke to force sexual tension'. That's what Craig grew up calling it since That IS what it's called in Britain, especially Scotland - always has been. I'm female and played the instrument ever since I was a child in Scotland - and never thought anything remotely 'sexual' about the name. I only began calling it a harmonica when I came to the US. Sheesh.

  • I know calling it a "mouth organ" is a joke to force sexual tension, but when their are females on I actually think about them giving a blow job.... is that just me?

  • Blow it wisely?????????// WTF lololololol.

  • @VoiceofCthulhu because its ode to joy ... european anthem:P
