Rossi got more personality and presence then most other guitarists possibly with exception of Billy Gibbons. Clapton (and a heap of other blues guitarists) is in my mind way better guitarists and way less of an artist then Rossi. Likeability pwns Skillz :P

That said, Rossi ain't a bad guitarist, just not an other Clapton or Moore, thank god, since there are plenty of awesomely skilled blues guitarists and only 1 Status Quo

Francis was playing the tele before pubrock but after southern country its just the top tool it cuts right through he is a top chugger

@Sabatinitennis *That* is actually a bloody astute comment but it's a bit unfair comparing Francis Rossi to anybody else. He's *far* more successful than Clapton, has a much bigger personality and is *undoubtedly* poorer because he's spent most of his dosh on charlie (allegedly) ;-)
