  • another great vid, that bannock bread had my mouth watering, i've yet to have a go at making some, but i've got a mix ready to go, for when i next go out, and keep those vidz coming

  • @taff64 Great easy sustenance trail food, hope you enjoy it and have a great time "being out there". Cheers.

  • give me a straw and a funnel ill take up that challange =)

  • @megal0w I'll have to attend as a regulator so it's done in good bushcrafting fashion (whatever that is) LoL

    Cheers :-)

  • Just remembering a documentary about a nomad in North Africa. He baked his bread underneath his fire (in the soil/sand under the fire pit). Might work with aluminium foil (?). Could start smaller with biscuits (just an idea).

Thanks for your videos. Closer to home and more relaxed than the American fire works.

  • @willemsma Yes there' so many different ways to cook bannock/bread mixes. Drop scone in pan or on hot stone is quickest, have put loaf size mix in doc leaf put on fire coals. Loaf: put in foil wrap and place on fire/coals or put in greased billy then put that in another larger billy so sides don't touch and bake as if in an oven i.e. coals. Biscuit is great idea but take a little longer as more to do but great for pocket snack :-) All depends kit, fire type + time etc. Thanks for comment. Cheers

  • @brmarijn Wasn't survival exercise although I know how to. Many YT channels telling you what to do about survival. I can survive with very little, main aspect is showing how you can go outside and enjoy the wild without making it a struggle. There are laws in the UK that defer killing/hunting animals from public land. If you are experienced make a video and share your ideas. Presume you don't get out much :-) or you'd understand these ideas. Show us what you can/would do in Holland. Cheers

  • @shugemery Heyup shug' thanks for dropping by.....ha ha let me know if you attempt the nasal challenge...while eating bannock at the same time? lol. Cheers.

  • @byronlegend Thanks. Yep add anything that takes your fancy providing the mix can form into the patte/scone or loaf and doesn't fall apart. Seeds are unsaturated fat so it's more healthy and easier for the body to digest/process and energy from fat lasts longer. Cheers.
