Just to see how to upload a video on Youtube. Have mercy on me. I'm playing my new mouthpiece Zinner TS-78-6. It's a german handcrafted mouthpiece and I have to accustom me on it.

The tenor sax is a B&S TS 249 Antoine Courtois Paris (Medusa)

  • The tenor sax is a B&S TS 249 Antoine Courtois Paris (Medusa-Stencil). B&S has been a german woodwind manufactorer.

  • how do you get vibrado? im in mid skul 6th- 7th and wonderin how to do it. i can even get it distorted! but can't get vibrado........

  • The clip is nearly two years old. I think, in 2007 I could not really play any vibrato. So I wonder why you`re asking. Maybe you want to know how to produce this rough tone called growling? Just buzz and hum into the saxophone while playing and you`ll get that rough tone ...

  • Nice!

    What make is your tenor?

You like it better than your link?

There is a Zinner on CL in Seattle for $95.

I am buying it after hearing this.

    Thanks!

  • try to control ur vibrato more it just sounds like ur quivering u lip really fast. the lips bends sound good tho, like goin up to half steps from the m7 to the root at 1:43. listen to all too soon by duke ellington on ko-ko. solo's so good.

  • Good decision, Bunny. Does that mean you'll finally dedicate yourself to learning how to spell it?

  • nice sound!!!

  • it is unique.

i am still trying to get used to it.

Seems kind of brassy but it is probably my average horn.

Wish i had my old Selmer Mk. VI...

    Best,

    Gunny
