are you running super rich? i hear alot of back fire at part throttle unless its something else get it tuned if you are coz u might be missing alot of power and yes its quick for a 2.5l its the 1jz :-D! O yeah get it tuned at 18psi and up u'll love it!

im not sure mate it does backfire heaps and shoots flames lol it might be running rich but it has the standred computer in it so mabey its on the way out....oh and the other day i started it up and now it idles at 2000rpm and keeps bouncing from 2000-900 every 1 second do u know wat that is.....:)i was told its the TPS coz i had played with it the day befor....THANKS mate i will tweak the boost wen i get my cooler

yep, its quick turn the boost up a bit n u wont believe.. 13psi on stock twins, all day!

its sounds like a tps sensor or the idle air control i wish i can tell you what it is but it can be a number of things the best thing is to diagnose the car or hit up the forum...sorry i cant help u but good luck!
