Oosa pipe (pronounced "Osha Pee-pay") being chanted by an Obatala priestess in Oyo. This is the literature/poetry of Oosaala that is used by priests and priestesses to call the deity. Women are the ones that generally specialize in learning the praise poetry of deities such as Obatala, Sango, Egbe, Osun, Iyemoja, Aro Ogboni (Ogboni poetry), etc., whereas men are the more frequent chanters for Ijala Ogun, Iyere Ifa, etc. There are various segments that are used during different ritual procedures. Oosa pipe is a vast comprehensive literature that has variations depending on the area and the expression of Obatala that is being praised. It teaches us indepth esoteric knowledge about Orisanla and is also used as entertainment and praise during Obatala festivals.

Here she is chanting the praises of the manifestation of Obatala known as Oosa Olufon as well as his principal wife known as Iyemowo

En general son las mujeres que se especializan en aprender las poesias de alabanza de deidades tales como Obatala, Sango, Egbe, Osun, Iyemoja, Aro Ogboni (poesia de Ogboni), etc., mientras que los hombres son los que con mas frecuencia recitan Ijala Ogun, Iyere Ifa, etc. Hay varios segmentos que se utilizan an diferentes ocasiones o procedimientos ceremoniales. Oosa pipe es una literatura vasta y comprehensiva que tiene variaciones dependiendo del area y la expresion de Obatala que se esta alabando. Nos ensenar conocimiento esoterico profundo de Orisanla y tambien se utiliza para entretenimiento y alabanzas durante festivales de Obatala.

Aqui ella esta recitando las alabanzas de una expresion de Obatala que se conoce como Oosa Olufon y las de su esposa principal conocida como Iyemowo.
