Thank you so much, each and every one of you, for your responses to our song and video! My daughter Kristy is 27 now, and has profound autism. Although she has little speech, she has been my greatest teacher, and I thank God for the gift she is in my life, even though it has never been "easy" to be her mom. But I love her beyond words, and the song "I'm In Here" is an expression of that love, and of the love BJ has for his young son Rylie, who is also on the spectrum. God Bless!

I love you so much for this. Really made me cry. My beloved son Gavin has AS. He's so wonderful, but not everyone can see how awesome and amazing he is. I have 3 children, and I have to say, he has opened my eyes and heart more. Taught me to listen, to really hear, to see, and to feel deeper than I thought I ever could. He's my very favorite Gavin, as I always tell him. My Gavin Awesome-pants (as he call himself). <3

Thank you for sharing this music video. The lyrics to the song are fantastic, and naturally as a mother of twins with one having autism, I shed tears..because it hits home.

my little brother has autism and every time i hear this song i start to cry
Thank you! 40 and finally diagnosed with Asperger, its been so hard to try to be "normal" for all these years, allways thinking how should I react to this?, how would other people respond?, did I handle the situation like other people would have done?, whats wrong with the way I think? Been playing a theaterplay constantly for 40 years, and sometimes i never learn to say the right lines..
So thank you for this song.... Im in here too...

I have autism (as my screen name says.) More specifically aspergers syndrome. I have found that autism has way more benefits than set backs. Yes we tend to be socially awkward but tons of us wacked out geniuses. Also one major problem in the whole concept of a cure for autism ( you can get better at having it im living proof) is that we are dealing with a condition that effects the mind. How does one distinguish between where autism ends and the person begins?
