It isn't very non-biased, as it doesn't show the rebels who were fighting against the USSR. The rebels had horrible losses to the USSR, some estimates say 1 Soviet for 50 rebels. That is probably off though.
I support the USSR personally.

You're just another dick with no balls ... failing to admit that he is wrong ...

Where did you see me doing that ?! Even former US defense and CIA specialists admit that until 1982 the USSR (then) have almost completely destroyed the mujahadeen. And here is another shock ! STILL the same people admit that the MiL - 24 HIND is even nowadays the most powerful and reliable attack helicopter in the World !The taxes your parents paid in the 80s went for your bearded buddies ! :D

@NingunAmorParaMi In other words you just admited to russia being weaker than the USA lol

Guess who was siding with Osama bin Laden and the Taliban to fight against the Russians?? Yes, the goddam Yanks themselves. Soon after the Russian left, the Yanks and Talibans became enemies again. The same thing happened in Iraq, the Yanks helped Sadaam to fight the Iranians, and when that ended - back they went to being enemies. Yanks have no friends in the Arab world, they just exploit them to their own advantage. Israel is their only BABY in the Middle East !!

Is that song: "Our ordinary combat work" a known song or is it just one that the who is singing wrote himself. Either way, I love it.

What now, are we supposed to pay for watching a documentary from 1989 ?!
Fuck that!

Fantastic documentary and groundbreaking for it's time. Whatever your political views are on the Soviet Union, Russia or the war in Afghanistan, The Soviet Experience provides a very sobering and real account of the men who fought and died there. The film takes a hard stance in being non-biased and it shows, with an ending interview with a Spetsnaz soldier lamenting his decision to join the army and his disillusionment with the war in general.
What the hell do you mean *slaves* to communists. The communist regime in Afghanistan was arguably the most progressive that country has ever experienced. Read a fucking book why don't you?
