The Grid of Passion

In early 2007 I entered this video into the NBC/Carson Daly "It's Your Show" contest for the "Soap Opera Challenge" category.

I created this in the online game/world Second Life. It is not technically animation but rather "machinima," a film created in an existing virtual world or game. To the best of my knowledge, I was the only director submitting machinima to "It's Your Show."

I really liked this. It probably would have been more of a "winner" if you used voice actors. I know that isn't always possible though as people can be unreliable.
