Nick Tomlin's Geometric Models at RISD 2007

This clip is of Nick Tomlin, a RISD student in Industrial Design, introducing himself during our show-n-tell with his coat hanger and other wire geometric models at the Synergetics Collaborative's Fall 2007 Symposium on "Synergetics and Morphology: Explorations into the Shapes of Nature" at the Rhode Island School of Design (4 Nov 2007). CJ Fearnley, Peiter Huybers, and Michael Burt (off camera) assist with geometric analysis of Nick's fascinating wire frame geometric artifacts.

The Synergetics Collaborative's 2007 Symposium on "Synergetics and Morphology: Explorations into the Shapes of Nature" at RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) brought together some 90 lovers of "form" ("philomorphs") from around the world to explore the interrelationships of morphology, structure, Nature, and Bucky Fuller's Synergetics.

The Synergetics Collaborative (SNEC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organizing events for anyone with an interest in learning about or building upon Buckminster Fuller's Synergetics.
