is it me..or The US gets lightning like ever second..it's constantly flashin whereas where im from in the Uk,,we only get thunder and like 1 lightning flash in our storm...AMERICA'S STORMS R EPICC!

I've witnessed electrical storms in Tampa. There's just something about storms, the electricity in the air, the noise of the wind and the falling drops...just love it.

In the northeast of th UK we don't get many storms, but I can remember being as bad as this in August 2005 when everything went pitch dark and constant lightning flashed. After the storm passed there was over an inch of hail on the ground, and parts of the country were flooded. After the storm passed the sun came out to dry out all the puddles!

o we get alot of thunderstorms in the uk in summer, :)
not like this, we get bad one,s thunder eveyr 3 seconds or so :o shocking, cool, gotta go there and see what it is like :)

I agree - being able to watch really dramatic storms is one of the things I love most about living here in South FL.
